On December 17, 2014, an agreement between the United States and Cuba, brokered in part by Canada and Pope Francis, began the process of restoring international relations between Cuba and the United States. On April 14, 2015, the White House announced President Obama will remove Cuba from the American government’s list of nations which sponsor terrorism. The Cuban government has reportedly welcomed the decision as “fair”. On June 30, 2015, Cuba and the U.S. reached a deal to reopen embassies in their respective capitals and reestablish diplomatic relations.
On the cusp of a big change, Cuba in 10 years most likely won’t look or feel anything like the Cuba of today. We were there to film the Cuba of today, or we better say the Cuba of yesterday.
An ARTtouchesART Films Production:
In many international lists, these beaches are features among the top 10 beaches in the world! Many would say there are no finer beaches anywhere. On this tiny island off the south western coast of Cuba in the Caribbean Sea lies a tiny island with only a few resorts and the most beautiful sand beaches imaginable. If you are looking for a place on earth where peace, tranquility, sunshine, crystal clean waters, azure blue seas, warm breezes and times when you may think you are all alone in paradise, this is it! I hope these few photos help capture the essense of this jewel for those who have never been there, but moreso for those who have. Enjoy.
