Cuban Artist Offers Nation’s First Free Public Wi-Fi

The Cuban government granted artist Kcho permission to open the island’s first free, public-access Internet hub at a cultural centre in Havana. Currently only about 5-25% of Cubans have any access to the Internet. Kcho will carry the cost of the bandwidth at an expense of approximately 0/month.
